Farewell to The Rev. Jacquelyn H. Roderick who departed from Trinity, New Holland on May 10, 2015 to pursue a fulltime program to train as a chaplain.
The Rev. Richard A. Whitesel who will serve as Trinity's Interim Pastor. Pastor Whitesel is a retired US Army chaplain and an ELCA pastor living in Landisville with his wife, Theresa, and their boxer puppies, Gretel and Henry. They have four married daughters. After retiring from the Army, Pastor Whitesel served as the senior pastor of a 700-member suburban Lutheran parish from 2000-2008. He currently is serving as an intentional interim pastor engaging in worship leadership, preaching, teaching, and as a change management consultant for congregations in leadership transition. Pastor Whitesel earned a Bachelor's of Arts in History from Dickinson College, a Master's of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, and a Master of Arts in Communication from Wheaton College Graduate School. He currently is a doctoral student at Harrison Middleton University. Pastor and Mrs. Whitesel enjoy sightseeing at historically interesting places, walking, biking, and photography.
